Inspect furnace burners on gas appliance and advise if cleaning is necessary.

Inspect heat exchanger walls for cracks, excessive soot, or rust build-up, and advise.
Cycle indoor blower and test amp draw and advise.
Cycle heater and check flame performance in heat exchanger box.
Inspect flue pipe if applicable.
Inspect furnace combustion air intake if in a closet and advise.
Test refrigerant levels if system is a heat pump and advise.
Inspect evaporator coil if accessible and inspect out door coil and advise.
Test defrost cycle if conditions allow to insure proper defrost cycle and advise.
Inspect outdoor fan and fan blade.
Inspect components: run capacitors, fan relay, main contractor for compressor circuit
boards and inspect compressor terminals if accessible, and advise.
